HYDRO-PNEUMATIC CYLINDERS
They Hydro Pneumatic Cylinders
represent a novel technology, where two applied techniques, namely, the
speed of pneumatic action and the force developed by hydraulics is
combined to impart the key features of a production machine.
Invariably cylinder and
Power-presses have a primary requirement of Fast Approach, Power Stroke
and Rapid Reversal. Hydro-pneumatic cylinders satisfy these conditions
perfectly. The rapid approach and reversal is accomplished by air,
whilst the Power stroke is automatically actuated by the intensified
hydraulic oil.
| Why consider H-P Cylinders ? |
| Compact and clean design |
| High Stroke frequency |
| Low approach forces governs Soft
touch on your tooling |
| Works on 6 bar shop-air, with simple
pneumatic controls |
| Low noise level |
| Low installation cost. |
| Ideal Applications of H-P Cylinders |
| Sheet metal working such as trimming,
Embossing, shallow drawing, Riveting -Locking or clamping applications |
| Compacting and moulding applications |
| Assembly-maintenance and robotics
applications. |
| Excellent Design Features |
| The piston rod is supported at both
ends - provide good rigidity. |
| Seals of reputed makes such as Busak&Shamban,
Merkel |
| The piston rod movement is cushioned
at both ends - reduces noise level and shocks. |
| Tonnage Regulator - ensures process
and tool safety. |
| High pressure measuring connection -
which can be used to monitor the process and actuate automatic production
cycle. A pressure gauge at this point is a standard supply. |
| **The changeover of the fast approach
action to the working stroke is automatically actuated by a pneumatic valve,
which is preset for optimum results. |
| The oil chamber is maintained under
mild spring pressure - this improves stroke frequency, permits installation
in any orientation and saves on air consumption. |
| Distinct separation of oil and air
chambers - ensures air/oil separation - enhances reliability, helps in
trouble shooting. |
| **Pneumatic Control Gear used is Festo
